Updated: Sep 16, 2023

Hey everyone! Lots of goodies this week, and Pumpkin beers are here! Sorry if I kept you waiting, I've been having trouble processing that we're 3/4ths through the year already! Don't forget to come check out our

At St. Elmo's Coffee Pub

Tonight from 7-9PM

On a semi-serious note, this Sunday will be my 6th anniversary here at Market 2 Market. It's been a wild ride and I want to thank you all for making it possible. This year has been very difficult for me mentally, but I've done my best to keep things to the high standard you all have come to expect, and I'm pleased to say that things have been improving in recent weeks. I know I tend to shy away from the spotlight, but know that I appreciate every one of you, and that I smile every time someone says M2M is the best beer joint in the area. So thanks!

(and if you happen to feel like picking up a little extra beer this weekend...😉)

Now, what you're here for! Take a look:

Torch & Crown Go Left

West Coast IPA | 6.5% ABV

Light gold and shimmering, Go Left continues the riff on T&C west coast IPA / old school video game theme, this time featuring Zork! Go Left is a wonderfully balanced west coast IPA with grapefruit, pine, and overripe pineapple character.

Torch & Crown High Brau

Festbier | 5.5% ABV

High Brau is T&C's tribute to a traditional Bavarian Festbier, with a nutty, lightly sweet aroma and smooth, malty finish. The perfect beer to usher in the end of summer.

Torch & Crown Black Tie

Porter | 5.5% ABV

Black Tie is a classic porter - easy drinking, surprisingly light, roasty, and perfect for a session of pints in the cold weather.

Grimm Top Knot

Double IPA | 8.% ABV

Introducing Top Knot, Grimm's newest Double IPA featuring El Dorado, Nelson Sauvin, and Cashmere hops. Top Knot is bursting with red berry and peach on the nose, giving way to strawberry and watermelon on the mid palate, and finishing with Cashmere's distinctive coconut richness.

Grimm Pavilion of Dreams

IPA | 6.4% ABV

Pavilion of Dreams is Grimm's new IPA named after the landmark 1978 ambient record by the late, great Harold Budd. To evoke the album’s clean, gentle, and radiant softness, Pavilion of Dreams is brewed with both malted oats and malted wheat. Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops bring fruit-forward notes of citrus, guava, red berries, and purple grapes.

Civil Society Fresh

New England IPA | 6.2% ABV

You know it, you love it. Civil Society's Flagship IPA brewed with Citra and Columbus hops.

Civil Society Pulp

Pale Wheat Ale | 6.3% ABV

American Pale Wheat Ale dry hopped intensely with Civil Society's hand selected Mosaic hops. On the nose we get a bouquet of tropical fruits. With flavors of Orange, Pineapple and Mango. This beer is full bodied from the addition of copious amounts of wheat malt, finishing smooth with a low to medium bitterness. I put it with the pale ales, not the wheats because space! -Nat

Caboose Oktoberfest Märzen

Märzen | 5.7% ABV | 20 IBU

Caboose's Oktoberfest is a traditional Märzen--the maltiness is balanced well with an ever so slight bitterness to make this brew approachable and tasty to all styles of beer drinkers.

Caboose Pumpkin Cream Ale

Cream Ale | 5.2% ABV | 15 IBU

Traditional cream ale (according to style guidelines there is no lactose or artificial cream flavoring) with pumpkin and spices. This beer is not overly spiced due to such a delicate base style.

Ardent Sweet Potato & Sage Saison

Saison | 6.4% ABV | 28 IBU

When the craft beer world descends into seasonal pumpkin madness, Ardent chooses a different path. Sweet Potato and Sage is a dry, farmhouse-style saison. Earthy notes from the sweet potatoes are balanced by the fragrant aroma of fresh, local sage. This fall seasonal features a continental malt backbone and subtle hop presence in a well-rounded beer, the first sure sign that autumn is approaching.

My go-to fall beer, pairs excellently with pork tenderloin! - Nat

Ardent Pumpkin Beer

Pumpkin Ale | 8.5% ABV | 10 IBU

Ardent's newest fall seasonal was brewed with nearly 200 pounds of fresh pumpkin, then seasoned with cinnamon and allspice to accentuate the classic autumnal flavors. Pumpkin Beer has a distinct aroma of freshly baked pumpkin pie, balancing a slight malty sweetness with an earthy character and medium body in a deep amber-colored ale.

Jester King x Celestial Beerworks Astral Reflection

Double NEIPA | 8.5% ABV

Jester King is very excited to release a new collaboration with their friends at Celestial Beerworks in Dallas -- Astral Reflections Hazy DIPA!

They've been fans of Celestial's IPAs for some time now, so Jester King was really grateful to make one with them! Dry hopped with Sabro, Mosaic, and Idaho 7.

Aromas/flavors of honeydew melon in coconut milk, watermelon-cantaloupe sorbet, lime curd, and Lemon Jelly Fruit Slices.

Mast Landing Out Here

New England IPA | 6.5% ABV

Crafted to match whatever landscape you’re exploring, Out Here is a medium bodied New England style India pale ale brewed with Citra, Simcoe, and Loral hops. Big notes of fresh citrus over a tropical foundation.

Casa Agria Oxnard

Hazy Pale Ale | 6.0% ABV

Oxnard is a Hazy Pale Ale brewed to celebrate that place Casa Agria calls home. The aroma bursts with a hop blend that includes some old school hops, some new money hops, some hops from where you'd expect, and some hops from where you wouldn't!

Dutchess Ales Mantic

Kölsch | 4.2% ABV | 22 IBU

Mantic Kölsch is the perfect vehicle for Dutchess Ales to express their love of German traditional brewing culture and balanced, clean Ale all in one delicious package. Brewed with a decoction mash of Pilsner Malt, a kiss of Wheat and Munich malts and cold fermented with a centuries old Köln based yeast strain. Hopped with Perle and Hallertau Tradition. Perfectly balanced with a generous mouthfeel and notes of honeyed hay and lemon. A clean botanical bitterness cleanses and refreshes to finish.

Väsen Boho Pils

Pilsner | 5.0% ABV

A brand new pils from Väsen! This is their take on a classic Czech/Bohemian Pilsner utilizing the Saaz Noble Hop. This Boho Pilsner is malt forward in smell and taste. The Saaz hops give it a bit of a grassy component with flavors of cracker or sourdough crust with a little honey on the back end. This is a beach worthy crushable beer!

Oxbow OxtoberFest

Farmhouse Ale | 5.5% ABV

A slightly different angle on an Oktoberfest beer from Oxbow! A farmhouse festbier featuring a malt body that is both dry and creamy with hints of smoke.

Masthead Haunted Hayride

Pumpkin Ale | 7.3% ABV

Masthead's house pumpkin ale! This was a huge hit last spooky season! Brewed with pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

Lone Pine Pumpkin Party

Pumpkin Ale | 4.2% ABV

Pumpkin, spice, and everything nice. Brewed with real pumpkin and a carefully curated blend of seasonal spices. Pumpkin Party Pumpkin Ale is an ode to the Northeast's favorite season. Hit the patch, bring a glass, and revel in the wistful flavors of fall.

Hardywood Farmhouse Pumpkin

Pumpkin Ale | 8.5% ABV | 21 IBU

Brewed in the style of the farmhouse ales of Belgium's southern countryside, Hardywood Farmhouse Pumpkin utilizes a blend of rye, wheat and barley in the grain bill, earthy flavoring hops and a classic saison yeast. Ripe, flame roasted Virginia sugar pumpkins and brown sugar provide a hearty backbone to this 8.5% ABV beer. Freshly ground Ceylon cinnamon, whole Grenada nutmeg, whole Madagascar clove and whole allspice harmonize with pounds of freshly sliced organic ginger root.

A beautiful hue of autumn russet, Hardywood Farmhouse Pumpkin displays a voluminous head, with a bouquet of aromatic fresh spice. Medium to full in body, this ale offers a balanced flavor of caramelized pumpkin and pie spices, with a lingering finish laced with a hint of fresh ginger.

Sugar pumpkins came from the Farm to Family Market on Mechanicsville Turnpike and from the Village Garden. Peruvian organic ginger came from Ellwood Thompsons Local Market in Carytown. Pumpkin Pie Spice came from C.F. Sauer, right around the corner from Hardywood. Whole Ceylon cinnamon, whole Grenada nutmeg, whole Madagascar cloves and whole allspice came from Penzys Spices in Carytown. All are local Richmond businesses.
